The aim of this action-oriented teaching approach, which took shape in the context of learning by immersion, is to teach French and Romanian as foreign languages for medical purposes through bilingual courses. The interaction covered within mixed groups of native French and Romanian speakers, whose purpose is to improve their foreign language skills, will help learners acquire specialized terminology and medicine-specific speech acts at the same time familiarizing them with cultural and social practices outside their professional environment. Développer ses compétences communicatives dans une langue étrangère grâce à des contacts privilégiés avec un locuteur de langue maternelle représente une expérience d'apprentissage authentique. L'objectif de cette approche actionnelle, construite dans le contexte de l'immersion linguistique, est d'enseigner le Français et le Roumain, langues étrangères appliquées dans la médecine, à travers des cours bilingues. L'interaction des étudiants francophones et roumanophones chacun souhaitant se perfectionner dans la langue maternelle de l'autre, dans les groupes mixtes, vise l'acquisition de la terminologie médicale ainsi que la familiarisation avec des pratiques culturelles et sociales.
