We use the dataset from the international cross-section Flexible Professional in the Knowledge Society, named REFLEX, survey that collects information about labour market status of the higher education graduates five years after graduation. The method of binary logit model with skills mismatch as outcome variable was used. As determinants of mismatch demographic, educational mismatches, and early career experience were incorporated in the models. We tested several hypotheses such as more probable skills mismatch for graduates with Slovak nationality, and advantage of male graduates and graduates with highly educated parents for a better match between skills and occupation.
