The main aim is to describe the dynamics of the establishment of new small and medium-sized enterprises in relation with the new legislation which is in force since 1st January 2014. Internal resources of Czech Statistical Office were used to the analysis of the development of number of small and medium-sized enterprises, where these resources are not generally available, and therefore it can help with the clarification of the tendency of development of small and medium-sized entrepreneurship in the Czech Republic in the last six years.
