Threat of drugs to children and youth and options of their prevention in the Slovak Republic / Miriam Niklová. -- 3 grafy, 1 tabulka. -- Anotace: The issue of drugs and drug addiction has long been analyzed in the professional and lay public. Drugs still represent a current threat especially for children and youth. The study presented partial results focused on selected aspects of drug use and an overview of the number of registered drug addicts in the Slovak Republic according to the results of research of the National Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Health Yearbook of Slovak Republic. Due to the fact that decreasing the age limit drug users is essential to pay particular attention to the prevention of children and youth in the school environment.
