$a Cieľom príspevku je reflexia obrazu smrti v literárnom, výtvarnom a hudobnom umení na území Slovenska v období 170-ročnej okupácie Uhorska Osmanskou ríšou. V kontexte sofiologického pohľadu načrtávame: a) hodnotovú náladu doby ako priamy dôsledok pôsobenia "ducha času", b) z nej vyplývajúcu kultúrno-spoločensko-politickú situáciu - ako činitele podmieňujúce vznik dobového kultúrneho ovzdušia a tým následne i tematicky špecifických literárnych, hudobných a výtvarných prejavov. V oblasti literatúry mapujeme tému smrti a zároveň životný pocit človeka v ich umeleckej i faktografickej podobe (o. i. správy z dobových kroník, listy zo zajatia, vyrozprávané príbehy); výtvarné umenie reprezentujú dobové ilustrácie, mortuáriá, makabrózne plastiky, pamätníky; hudobné umenie je zastúpené historickými piesňami a baladami v súvislosti s dobovou praxou ich zhudobňovala a šírenia, napríklad kurucké piesne a verbunky, fašiangové tance Turkov a smrti na Záhorí, ako aj ich aktualizáciou pre dnešok (CD "Keď husári verbuvali" - hudba a slovo z obdobia uhorsko-osmanských vojen). V závere príspevku sa zamýšľame nad historicko-kultúrnym odkazom fenoménu "smrť' a jeho "rezonanciami" v súčasnej kultúre. 520 3-
$a This paper is aimed at reflecting the portrayal of death in literary and visual arts and music on the territory of Slovakia during the 170-year-long occupation of the Kingdom of Hungary by the Ottoman Empire. In the context of a sophiological view, we outline: a) the mood of that period in terms of values, as a direct resuit of how the "spirit of the times" was viewed, b) the resulting cultural, social and political situation as factors conditioning the-then cultural atmosphere and subsequently also thematically specific literary, musical and visual artistic expressions. In the sphere of literature, we chart the issue of death and human feeling concerning life as recorded by artistic and factual evidence (reports in contemporary chronicles, letters written in captivity and narratives, among others); visual arts are represented by contemporary illustrations, funerary hatchments, macabre plastic arts and memorials; music is represented by historical songs and ballads, with regard to the contemporary practice of musicalisation and spreading of these works (for example, kuruc songs and verbunkos, carnival dances of Turks and musical pieces on death from Záhorie), as well as their actualisation in modern times (a CD entitled "Keď husári verbuvali" ['When Hussars Were Recruiting'] containing music and spoken word from the times of Hungarian-Ottoman wars). At the end of the contribution, we discuss the historical and cultural message of "death" as a phenomenon and its "resonance" in current culture. 650 07
