English, French and local Creoles are mingling and the distribution in their use differs from one state to another (Mauritius, Reunion - French DOM, Seychelles). We look in particular at the distribution of these three languages in Seychelles. This is one of the two Creole-speaking countries in the world which have promoted it to the rank of an official language. There are the three that share this status, namely English, French and Creole (seselwa). Based on a survey of native Seychellois, our study traces the use of these languages, their status and the attitudes of the Creole people towards these languages. 520 $a Le présent travail s'inscrivant dans le domaine de la sociolinguistique porte sur les Etats insulaires de l'Océan indien qui représentent un laboratoire linguistique excellent. S'y côtoient l'anglais, le français et les créoles locaux. La répartition dans leur usage diffère d'un Etat à l'autre (L'Ile Maurice, La Réunion - DOM Français, les Seychelles). Nous nous sommes penchée plus particulièrement sur la répartition de ces trois langues aux Seychelles. C'est l'un des deux pays créolophones du monde à avoir promu son créole au rang des langues officielles. Il y en a trois qui partagent ce statut, à savoir l'anglais, le français et le créole (seselwa). Notre étude qui s'appuie sur l'enquête menée auprès des Seychellois natifs retrace l'usage de ces trois langues, leurs statuts ainsi que les attitudes des créoles face à ces langues. 650 07
