$a Konferenčný príspevok sa zaoberá kryonikou - vedou, ktorá sa nachádza na pomedzí vedeckej fantastiky a reálnej možnosti posunúť hranicu smrti do neurčita, a jej hlavnou myšlienkou, na ktorej stojí, a tou je paradoxné riešenie vyrovnávania sa s vedomím ľudskej/vlastnej smrteľnosti. Namiesto úsilia predĺžiť svoj život, napríklad snahou o lepší a zdravší životný štandard (v súčasnej západnej spoločnosti populárna vlna BIO, RAW potravín, výživových doplnkov, športových aktivit a pod.), sa jedinec siahajúci po kryonickom riešení uchyľuje k paradoxnému spôsobu, pri ktorom, aby sa smrti vyhol, ju dobrovoľne prijíma. Cieľom príspevku je snaha komparovať reflexie samotnej existencie kryoniky (a taktiež reflexie uvedomenia si eventuálnej nemožnosti reanimácie ľudskej bytosti a informačno-teoretickej smrti) v širokom spektre sfér ľudského bytia a pôsobenia. 520 3-
$a This contribution to the conference deals with cryonics - a science at the border area of science fiction and actual possibility of shifting the boundaries of death indefinitely, with a rather paradoxical way of coping with the awareness of human/one's own mortality as its main idea. Instead of efforts to prolong one's life by striving to achieve a better and healthier standard of living (the trend of consuming bio food, raw food diet, dietary supplements, sports activities etc. that have become so popular in current Western society), individuals taking refuge in the cryonic solution resort to a paradoxical way of escaping death - by accepting it voluntarily. This paper attempts to compare reflections on the very existence of cryonics (and reflections on realising the possible impossibility of reanimating the human person and information-theoretic death) in a broad spectrum of human existence and activities. 650 07
