V důsledku extenzivního vývoje sociální pedagogiky, ke kterému došlo počátkem devadesátých let v České republice i na Slovensku, panuje v oblasti sociální pedagogiky určitá nejednotnost, která se projevuje v oblasti terminologické, obsahové a zejména paradigmatické. Dnešní sociální pedagogice chybí jasná obsahová linie a přijatelné/všeobecně akceptovatelné paradigma, které by sjednocovalo náhled na smysl a podstatu sociální pedagogiky. Domníváme se, že takovým jednotícím teoretickým východiskem ("tmelem") sociální pedagogiky by se mohlo stát antropologické paradigma. Social pedagogy is a broadly-understood pedagogical discipline. As a result of the extensive development of social pedagogy in the Czech Republic and Slovakia at the beginning of the 1990's there has been some disunity in the field of social pedagogy, which manifests itself in terminology, content and above all in its paradigm. Contemporary social pedagogy lacks clear content outline and admissible and/or generally acceptable paradigm that would unify the view of purpose and foundation of social pedagogy. We believe that the anthropological paradigm could become such a unifying theoretical basis ("cement") of social pedagogy.
