	This paper focuses on cyber bullying as socially undesirable phenomenon. The study describes the scope of the definition of cyberbullying, the specifics of cyberbullying, the characteristics of the protagonists, and summarize research findings about the occurrence of cyberbullying in elementary, middle and high schools and defense strategies. The contribution deals with the social context of cyberbullying, including the legal framework.
