Annotation	This article describes the problem of products with very low turnover in the context of electronic commerce. The factors lead to the increasing number of “shelf warmers" are described. Those factors are divided into two groups: general and those which concern mainly online stores. The problem with identification of such products is shown and proposals of inventory control indicators are given including shelf warmers indicator. The last part of the article contains the short conclusions.
