It focuses on the prolonging of productive employment possibilities and the model approach to financial flows at older age improving current mechanisms. Attention is paid also to the social and regional dimension of the analysed phenomenon and intergenerational relationships. The results include suggestions for extension of current pension system enhancing the purchasing power of the elderly who remain active and its evaluation in macroeconomic and regional context.
