As a method for this kind of analysis, authors use the approach of mental mapping and the content analysis of related academic writings. The social responsibility is suggested to be perceived as an instrument for the solution of the negative environmental and socio-cultural market externalities. The social responsibility concept has many aspects with three main dimensions – economic, environmental and socio-cultural, the same dimensions as a sustainable tourism concept. As a results, the selected approaches, methods and concepts of tourism social responsibility, mental map of the fundamental aspects of social responsibility in sustainable tourism as well as market externalities in tourism are described.
