Práve typológia "Adam - Kristus", ktorou Pavol argumentuje v 1 K 15, 45 - 49 a v R 5, 12 - 21, môže pomôcť danú problematiku objasniť, a práve to je zámerom a cieľom tejto štúdie. The conundrum of death relates directly with the question of both the temporal and eternal life. The faith in resurrection that constitutes a key aspect of Paul's thinking within his mission among Gentiles, and to which he dissects in 1 Corinthians 15, has its basis in the Jewish understanding of the relation between death and sin. From this point of view, death is understood not as something natural, or something what God would want. Despite this, the question remains that if physical death is "natural", or on the contrary, something unnatural and abnormal, which is in contradiction to God's self. Just the "Adam - Christ" typology, through which Paul argues in 1 Corinthians 15:45-49 and Romans 5:12-21, can help us clarify this conundrum, as is the purpose and the goa lof this study.
