Annotation	Autor se zamýšlí nad současným stavem sociální pedagogiky jako vědního oboru, nad tím, jaký byl jeho dosavadní vývoj. O další orientaci a perspektivách daného oboru pak uvažuje v souvislosti s proměnami společnosti. Zmiňuje takové jevy jako společenskou diferenciaci, nárůst sociálních deviací, problémy multikulturality, změny v komunikaci a medializaci života, posuny v hodnotové orientaci.
	Author of this paper examines the current state of social pedagogy as a science and its previous development, considers the next orientation and perspectives of the field in the context of changes in the society. The author refers such phenomena as social differentiation, the growth of social deviance, multicultural issues, changes in communications and medial life, shifts in value orientation.
