Kultúrne a subkultúrne štandardy z pohľadu lingvistiky a translatológie / Zdenko Dobrík. -- Summary: Cultural and subcultural standards from the perspective of linguistics and translatology. The content of the paper belongs to the intercultural research and it can be put in the interface between cultural anthropology, linguistics (semantics) and translatology, emphasizing research of culture and semantics of selected linguistic units (names), which form the basis of (sub)cultural standards. The author pays attention to 1) mutual permeability of cultural and subcultural standards; 2) reasons of some existing cultural standards weakening or disappearing; 3) approaches chosen by authors of dictionaries when defining words which are parts of particular (sub)cultural standards; adequateness of these approaches in uncovering thinking, feelings, attitudes, behaviour etc. of the particular (sub)culture members; 4) functions of literature in translation in relation to (sub)cultures in translation.
