$a Príspevok sa venuje téme smrti optikou koncepcie dánskeho náboženského mysliteľa, filozofa, literárneho kritika, básnika, vydavateľa, priekopníka myšlienkového smeru existencializmu, originálneho pozorovateľa súdobej spoločnosti a kultúry Sørena A. Kierkegaarda. Smrť ako "posledné" tabu, s ktorým človek zápasí od počiatkov dejín ľudstva, je podrobená kritickej reflexii v kontexte súčasného chápania smrti nielen v rovine spoločenskej, ale i individuálnej. Fakticita vytesňovania smrti na okraj spoločenského záujmu je sprevádzaná vytesňováním i vo vedomí jednotlivcov. Napriek uvedenému sme konfrontovaní s postupným "odmäkkom" tabuizácie smrti a umierania, čo dokazujú príznačné rôznorodé tendencie tzv. detabuizácie smrti. Cieľom je interpretácia spisov S. Kierkegaarda - Nad hrobom a Skutky lásky, v ktorých uvažuje o smrti a vyzýva nás k hľadaniu vlastnej individuálnej existencie, znamenajúcej skutočne zameraný a prežívaný život pred tvárou Boha. Čím nás môže S. Kierkegaard inšpirovat? Ako je možné zbaviť sa strachu a úzkosti zo smrti? Prečo je myšlienka na smrť tou najdôležitejšou a najvážnejšou? Ktorý skutok lásky je ten najväčší? Smrť toho druhého - čo pre nás znamená? Autorka s dávkou skromnosti neponúka "konečné" odpovede na tieto komplikované otázky, no predkladá autopsiu hodnú k zamysleniu a hľadaniu vlastného postoja k životu a smrti tak, ako to svojmu "poslucháčovi" odporúčal S. Kierkegaard. 520 3-
$a The paper focuses on the issue of death by using the optics of Danish religious thinker, philosopher, literary critic, poet, publisher, pioneer of existentialism, and original observer of contemporary society and culture Søren A. Kierkegaard. Death as the final "taboo" faced by humanity throughout its history is subject to a critical reflection in the context of current views on death both at the levels of society and an individual. Attempts to sideline death onto the periphery of social interest are accompanied by similar efforts in individual consciousness. Despite the aforementioned phenomenon, we are being confronted with a gradual "thaw" of taboos surrounding death and dying, as evidenced in various tendencies involving the so-called de-tabooing of death. We interpret Kierkegaard's works Over the Grave and Works of Love. The author contemplates death, calling on us to search for our individual existence, with an appeal on leading a properly focused life before the face of God. What inspiration can be drawn from Kierkegaard? How is it possible to get rid of fear and anxiety of death? Why is the thought of death the most important and the most serious one? What is the foremost act of love? Death of another person - what does it mean for us? The author of this contribution, with a dose of humility, refrains from presenting "final" answers to these complicated questions; nonetheless, she presents an autopsy that should inspire to consideration and search for one's attitude towards life and death, as S. Kierkegaard also recommended his "students". 600 17
