In this article the author proceeding from the paradigm of intercultural education points to the need of changing the approach to teaching students at universities. Intercultural communication is interrelation and understanding of the two parties engaging in dialogue. For speech development one should select texts with problematic situations including a cultural component. To understand the historical past of the country and the cultural value of what is happening around is important not only for the public but especially for the younger generation.
