$a Tematická analýza filmových kritík filmu 38 o živote Pavla Demitu popisuje témy diskurzu slovenských filmových kritikov. V kritikách sa zrkadlia negatívne očakávania spojené s portrétnym filmom známej osobnosti (kritici očakávali pátos a gýč) a ich pozitívne prekvapenie - film nie je gýčom, ale úctivou a dôstojnou poctou. Štúdia pokračuje popisom vzťahu medzi témou "filmu ako pocty" a témou smrti. Kritiky referujú k nevôli k explicitnej artikulácii témy smrti a smrť tak zostáva na pozadí diskurzu a prejavuje sa implicitne v štýle analyzovaných textov (nekritíckosť, pietnosť, intimita). 520 3-
$a This paper provides qualitative thematic analysis of critical reviews of documentary 38 (about life and death accident of Slovak hockey star Pavol Demitra) and describes its most important themes, such as "film as honour" and theme of "death" itself. The analysis discovers the specific way of articulating of these themes, when there is explicit notion of death strictly suppressed. However "death" is still present - implicitly - in style of reviews. 600 17
