$a Príspevok sa primárne zaoberá vzťahom smrti a melanchólie, pričom predpokladá úzku prepojenosť daných kategórií, dokonca nevyhnutnosť vzájomnej koexistencie. Vybrané filmové obrazy z diel Larsa von Triera sprítomňujú smrť a zároveň je možné ich označiť za melancholické. Otázkou tak zostáva to, ako a čím sa zobrazenie smrti pretavuje do melancholickosti výrazu a ako tieto kategórie spolu komunikujú. Príspevok sa snaží o interpretáciu vizuálneho diela prostredníctvom filozofických a psychoanalytických teórií melanchólie. 520 3-
$a Paper deals primarily with the relation of death and melancholia while it assumes a very close connectivity of these categories or even unavoidableness of their coexistence. Selected film images from artworks of Lars von Trier make death present and at the same time they can be identified as melancholical. So the question is, how is the representation of death transformed into a melancholic expression and how can the mentioned categories communicate to each other. Paper attempts to interpret the visual artwork throgh philosophical and psychoanalytical theories of melancholia. 600 14
