Price volatility on the market in cereals and pigs for slaughter - analysis of trends and regularities / Anna Olszańska. -- 7 grafů. -- Abstract: For agricultural producers fattening animals relative prices of basic raw materials which go into animal feed in relation to the purchase prices of cattle at a time are important. They provide information for producers about the potential conditions of the profitability of the next cycle of animal production. The aim of the study is to determine trends in market prices of pigs for slaughter and major cereals and mutual interactions between these prices in Poland in the years 1995-2014. Producers of pork in PL after a period of relatively stable functioning of the cereals market and buying livestock in 1995-2004, entered a new period, functioning within the EU single market characterized by severe competition and instability in the market price of cereals and livestock. -- Dostupné též v elektronické podobě.
