Obeying law of the European Union and realization of duties resulting from membership of the European Union belong to the major duties for member states and addresses of legal acts of the EU. The European Commission supervises the correct application of law of the European Union by member states. Not only the commission but also other subjects have the right to inform about not keeping the EU law by member states. In this article we carried out research how the Slovac Republic acts in granting governmental help and whether the passed national legal regulations are in accordance with the system of laws of the EU.
