The article contains the most often occurring mistakes in texts translated into the Slovak language. The authors have been working as teachers of the Slovak language for translators and interpreters for many years and they are able to find, analyse, present and correct these mistakes. This article consists of two parts: 1. orthographical problems and 2. Morphological problems of texts translated into the Slovak language. The first part deals with topics as: i/y; writing of capital letters; writing words together or separately; punctuation. This part offers analyses and proposals for the correction of mistakes. The second part deals with morphological problems of texts translation such as morphological-orthographical and morphological-syntactic phenomena.
