Стремление сказать новое слово заставляло авангардистов искать необычные формы выражения, снимая некоторые прежние запреты языка и зачастую эпатируя публику. На примере ярких представителей авангарда - Владимира Маяковского и Гийома Аполлинера автор проводит исследование и сопоставление их творчества, уделяя особое внимание новаторским экспериментам этих двух выдающихся личностей. The article is concerned with the problem af an avant-garde - phenomenon of the Art of 20th century, as well as aesthetic foundations and interconnection of avant-garde trends, groups and societies of the early 20th century both in Russia and Europe, particularly in France. The aspiration of saying a new word made the avant-gardists search unusual forms of expression, removing former language bans and often shocking the audience. Through the example of outstanding representatives of the avantgarde - Vladimir Mayakovsky and Guillaume Apollinaire the author does research and comparison of their creative work, paying special attention to the trailblazing experiments of these two prominent figures.
